Creating a Renormalising Factor File
A renormalising factor file should be named like this: GEM00216.ALF (for run 216 on GEM), and should be in the same directory as your data files. Here is a simple example of an .ALF file...
| 3 | |
| 1 | 1.038 |
| 2 | 0.944 |
| 3 | 1 |
The first line gives the number of detector groups, ngroup. This should then be followed by a further ngroup lines. Each line gives the group number and the renormalising factor, and these lines should be arranged in order of increasing group number, with no omissions or duplications. The format of the file is free (the numbers must be separated, by spaces or a comma).
An example file g_f:template.alf is available and this file may be copied, renamed and modified.
