Where are my GEM Data?

Starting from January 2004 GEM .RAW datafiles are stored on the PC network. Earlier GEM .RAW datafiles are stored on the VMS network. The last .RAW datafile for GEM to be stored on the VMS network is for run 16504.

The size of a typical GEM .RAW datafile for the completed instrument is about 36 MegaBytes (or about 73 thousand blocks on VMS). Older .RAW datafiles, from before the completion of the instrument, are smaller.
