2.6 GEM Oscillating Radial Collimator

An oscillating radial collimator was installed on GEM in July 2002.

The operation of the ORC can be controlled by the LabView PC in the GEM cabin. This PC will then communicate with an electronics box which is located on the ground floor level, outside the blockhouse door.
