The commands TCUR and TOLD, described above, must be run repeatedly in order to follow changes in the temperature of sample environment equipment. An alternative plotting program called REALITY provides a continuously updating plot of the temperature which can be very useful when controlling equipment such as a furnace or a cryostat. The program is started by typing @G_F:REALITY and it may be stopped in an orderly fashion by typing [Ctrl]Y . Figure 5 shows a typical plot from this program. It must be emphasised that the program is not run from GENIE.
